Therapy for Executives and Professionals

High-performing professionals often carry more than most people realise. From the outside, it may look like you have it all together, but inside, it might feel like you’re always one step away from losing it all. You might dread being “found out,” or worry about making even one small mistake. I work with executives, directors, and senior professionals who are struggling beneath the surface with issues like burnout, imposter syndrome, fear of failure, and unrelenting self-pressure. Many of my clients are leaders within blue-chip companies, who are juggling multiple competing demands, whilst finding it hard to switch off or feel fulfilled. My client base includes high-performing individuals from top-tier firms such as Google, Amazon, Microsoft, KPMG, Accenture, and PwC.

In our work together, I help clients

  • Navigate the internal pressures that drive overworking and overthinking
  • Rebuild confidence and self-worth from the inside out
  • Improve communication, leadership, and interpersonal effectiveness
  • Create healthier boundaries between work and home life
  • Reconnect with purpose, motivation, and personal values

Whether you’re a CEO, founder, or rising leader, therapy offers a rare and confidential space to step out of performance mode and reflect on what’s really driving you, and what might be holding you back. Many of my clients report greater career satisfaction, renewed clarity, and a more sustainable, fulfilling way of working and living.

Burnout

This involves feeling a state of emotional, physical and mental exhaustion, often triggered by unrelenting and prolonged periods of stress. You might find it very hard to switch off, and have trouble feeling motivated to do even small tasks.

Perfectionism / High standards

Do you hold yourself to unreasonably high standards, and strive to avoid even the smallest of mistakes?  You might spend excessive amounts of time trying to get everything just right, leading to overwhelming stress, and a loss of work-life balance.

People pleasing

Do you find yourself always trying to prove yourself to others, to your own detriment? Many people that engage in people pleasing find it almost impossible to say no to things, and then get caught in a vicious cycle of never saying no, ultimately sacrificing their own well-being.

Imposter syndrome

Do you constantly worry about being exposed as a fraud at work, despite there being no concerns around your performance? If so, you might avoid giving suggestions in meetings, not take on new challenges, in order to avoid any perceived or actual criticism.

Worry and overthinking

Do you constantly worry about hypothetical worst-case scenarios, that often never occur?  Perhaps you end up worrying for hours every Sunday night about work, or regularly engage in overthinking work tasks.

Self-criticism

Are you putting yourself down constantly?  When even slightly falling short of your own high standards, you conclude that you are not good enough. Even when you experience success, you attribute this to luck, or other factors.

Why Therapy is an Investment

Therapy isn’t just about the time spent in the session, it’s an investment in your mental health, emotional resilience, and long-term wellbeing. Each session reflects years of specialist training and clinical experience, as well as the time spent outside of sessions designing a personalised treatment plan for your needs. Many people don’t hesitate when spending money on holidays, gym memberships, or dining out, all of which provide mostly only short-term wellbeing. Therapy offers something deeper: a safe, consistent space to understand yourself, work through what’s holding you back, and build lasting change. This investment in yourself is a valuable commitment to living the balanced, fulfilled life, that you wish you live for many years ahead.

Testimonials

Exceptional level of care and counsel from Pritesh Joshi who has supported me on a year long journey. Unwavering, sincere and professional CBT provided always at mutually agreeable dates and times, never has he let me down or not followed up with any promised support material. I would thoroughly recommend Pritesh for his experience, compassion and results.

- Jon H.

Pritesh Joshi was excellent. At 54 I am the happiest and most balanced person that I have ever been. I’m very happy for you to use my feedback, and would be very proud to think that it might help someone get better.

- Stephen S.

I had a wonderful experience with my therapist called Pritesh. He was so kind and listened to me from the minute that I explained why I needed help. I’ve gone through a lot in the last six months, and I truly don’t believe I would’ve been able to do it without his support.

- Lisa F.

I have found our sessions invaluable and want to thank you for all of the support and kindness you have shown me. You have provided me with wonderful tools, to help me cope during this difficult time. The work you do is wonderful. I hope others will benefit from the sessions you offer, as much as I have. You have been an absolute lifeline.

- Heather H.

I worked with Pritesh over several months to help overcome my issues with anxiety and perfectionism which had put my work life to a standstill. Pritesh was insightful and patient and helped me so many techniques to get me back to being productive. I am incredibly grateful for his time.

- M.C.

Pritesh created a supportive environment where I could openly address challenges I had previously faced alone. His structured approach, incorporating diverse techniques, enabled me to experience significant progress within just a few weeks.

- J.T.

Pritesh has many strengths as a supervisor, but perhaps the most valuable for me is his compassion and understanding approach. He helps me navigate challenges that arise,, consistently offering thoughtful ideas to support effective client outcomes.

- Veena U. CBT Therapist

Pritesh strikes a valuable balance between validating and gently challenging me to grow. I leave supervision feeling clearer, more resourced and better equipped for the challenges of life as a therapist.

- Francesca H. CBT Therapist

Working with Pritesh as my supervisor has been such a positive experience. Pritesh always makes me feel at ease and heard. His depth of knowledge in CBT, combined with his compassionate supervision style, has helped grow my clinical skills.
